An unsecured MongoDB database server, containing highly detailed CVs for more than 202 million Chinese users, was recently discovered by Hacken Proof Director of Cyber Risk Research Bob Diachenko, ZDNet reports. According to Diachenko, the app appeared to have scraped the data from bj.58.com, a popular Chinese job portal, but did not rule out that other portals were included in the data, as well. Unsure of how to report the discovery, Diachenko turned to Twitter to identify the owner of the database. ZDNet reports the database has since been secured and the GitHub repository removed.
